Maui, Day 5

The worst thing about a vacation is that they always come to an end. Today was our last day here, and it was the best day. We literally rolled out of bed to drive up the coast to Napili Shore where there is little place right on the beach called The Gazebo. We got the recommendation from a few friends, and we're sooo glad we went! They opened at 7:30, we were there at 7:00 and there were already 10 people ahead of us in line. Once we got seated there were probably 30 people in line outside waiting to get in! It was so delicious. There specialty are the White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Pancakes with Coconut Syrup. It was magical.

 Livy's Minnie Mouse pancakes.
My white chocolate Mac nut pancakes. YUM!
Ry's delish omelet.

Then we had a last swim at the pool. Livy loved the waterfalls, popping the bubbles, going down the slide, playing with her animals, and being thrown by mommy and daddy.

Then we had an amazing opportunity to go Para-Sailing! It's something I've always wanted to do, never really had the opportunity, and have been a little too nervous! There's not much that can go wrong, besides the cord snapping, but we survived and are so grateful we didn't orphan Livy. It was also fun to have a boat ride on the ocean and see the shore line. It was such a great experience, so much fun, and so glad we did it!

Our happy little parachute.

Getting dipped...

For dinner we decided to eat at Leilani's, a beach side restaurant in Whaler's Village. We have always walked past it, then after a few recommendations we decided to give it a try. Ryan and I got their famous fish tacos, with a little added hot sauce, they were to die for!!

Livy loved her "bap-pup" and fries, along with a little Hooplakidz for some entertainment.
Oh and their Hula Pie. My goodness. Macadamia Nut ice cream, cookie crust, fudge topping, with hot fudge and macadamia nuts to top it off. Heaven.

Hawaii was a success. Livy was a wonderful traveler. She had her moments, but we all had our moments. We had fun relaxing, basking in some sun, taking naps, playing games and being together. It was a wonderful vacation.
