My Silly Family

I love finding all of these random pictures from the month of May. Olivia loves to help mow the lawn, most of the time we have to do it while she is asleep, but if she see's someone out on that mower you better believe she'll be right out to "help"!

We have found an obsession with donuts. We have the most delicious bakery close to our house, and we will often find ourselves there on Saturday mornings. The girls love the white or pink frosted donuts with sprinkles.

Penny is my little cleaner-upper. If there is a mess, she can't just walk past it. She found a pile of Olivia's beads on the floor, so she just sat herself right down to start picking them up. There will be times when Olivia will say, "Penny, stop cleaning up!", either because the toys are still being played with, or for whatever reason, but I always tell her to stop and never ever tell her sister to stop cleaning up ;)

The princess obsession has reached the next child. She loves to line them up just like Olivia did. She will put them all facing toward her, and go through and say their names one by one. I love how girlie these girls are.

We were going out for a walk one Sunday, and I realized that we were head to toe in Qualtrics gear (even Ryan's socks!). We sure are grateful for that awesome company, and for them supplying us with comfy clothes! Olivia wanted to pose with Daddy after I did.

Last day of 3 Year Old Preschool

I absolutely love these first day of school and last day of school pictures. It's so fun to see how much Olivia has grown up in just one year. She loved her teacher, and her class and going to school every Tuesday and Thursday morning. I still can't believe she still have one whole more year until she starts kindergarten!! I love this confident and smart little girl.

Play Play Play

I love playing with my little hooligans. When we are home all they want to do is fight over toys, watch shows and sit on the couch. So whenever I can I try and take them out to do something. Chuck-E-Cheese, is gross and old and dirty, but the girls just love it! Especially if we go right when they open we are the only people there. I love these little girls.

Dance Dance Dance

Olivia loves to dance. I put her in Erika's Dance Studio again this year. I love that it's just a small studio, that has only one concert a year, no big fees for tuition and costumes and such. And the biggest thing is that Livy is still only 4 and I want to make sure she still loves dance and not burn her out with competitions and such just yet. She loves doing her hair and make up and getting all dressed up. So we decided to do our own dress rehearsal for her recital, so on a slow afternoon we got her all ready and had a little photo shoot. I'm so glad we did so we weren't rushed on the actual day! She is such a little doll.

Let's Play Music - Year 1

We were fortunate enough to start Olivia in the Let's Play Music program this year even though she was too young and should have started next year. She is so musically inclined and I knew she would do well. Her teacher was Alicia Howard, who is an incredible lady and also happens to live close by and in our ward! We would listen to her songs in the car, and I would go to the lessons with her every other week, as well as practice at home. I love seeing her learn and be involved in something to make her a better person and learn new skills. She is the sweetest little girl, and can't wait to see how much she learns in the next 2 years of the program!

Preschool Year 2

Olivia completed her second year of preschool, but first year at Learning Dynamics. She has loved it. The teacher couldn't help but chuckle when we had our final parent/teacher meeting, because she said, "I don't really know if she even learned anything", because she came into the year pretty much already knowing everything they learned. But she loved it, she loved making friends, doing crafts, and learning her letter sounds. She is going to have one awesome final year of preschool next year and be more than ready for Kindergarten!

Bunco buddies

I am the worst. I never take pictures with the people I spend the most time with! This is my Bunco group of girls since August of 2011. We get together once a month, have dinner, chat (a lot), and play Bunco and some of the winners get prizes. I always look forward to this night to take a break and forget about all of the mom responsibilities and just spend time with my friends. Even though we end up talking about our kids most of the time, we always have good laughs and such a good time with one another. So grateful for such good friends in my life.

Cinco de Mayo

I always love an excuse to party. And Cinco de Mayo is no exception. We invited some of our favorites, The Poulsen's, The Packer's and the Allred's over for some homemade Cafe Rio salads, and Tres Leches and a pinata. The kids all had a a great time, and we had great weather too. So grateful for such good neighbors and friends to do fun things with. I also convinced the girls to wear their Mexcian dresses, and they were so adorable and made me so happy.

We surprised the girls with a family night to Marley's for dinner and then playing the evening away at the Provo Beach Resort. I love doing things together as a family, and helping these develop a better relationship and learn to be better friends each day. So glad we live in a place that has so many fun family things to do!

One of Olivia's favorite things to do with either Ryan or me is to play her Matching game. She is really good at it too! I've gotten to the point where I really have to try, and I can't just let her win, because she always plays well on her own! Even when there are 60+ cards she still does well.

Tulip Festival

We went to the Tulip Festival twice this year. We first went the day it opened and there just weren't that many that had yet bloomed, so we went a few weeks later with friends, and it was so beautiful. It was also a little more fun to be with friends too! I love living so close to Thanksgiving Point so we can visit all the different attractions.

More Cousin Time

It hard having so many fun cousins, but most of them live far away. So whenever we are all together, we try and squeeze as much fun as we can into one week! We made one of our favorite stops to the Kangaroo Zoo. It was nice to let the kids just run around, and play while the mom's got to chat a little.

One afternoon I had Kenna and Lucy over to play with Livy. They put on some dress ups and we made some paper dolls. They all loved being together and giggling.

We were fortunate enough to all be able to go through the Payson Temple Open House together. It was so amazing to be in the temple, and especially the Celestial Room all together, with kids, husbands, and grandparents all together.

WE also took advantage of being all together for some updated family pictures. It seems like every time we are together there are always some new additions! Penny, Trey and Brooklyn were all new to the family since the last family picture with us all.

We don't ever have any girl time, the boys usually go golfing, but we never get together with us mom's! It was so nice to go kid-free to PF Changs for a nice dinner and chat all together. I am so lucky to call all of these amazing women family.

I love to have people over for dinner, especially when it's the people I love most in the world.

How could we not finish it off with s'mores, the kids running around playing all together, and we get to enjoy one another's company on such a beautiful Spring night.

We spent the last afternoon all together up at City Creek and a nice walk around Temple Square. I always go when it's winter to enjoy the lights, but it was nice to be up there in the spring to see all of the beautiful flowers and not have to fight the crowds. I love all of these little people so much.
