Jackson Christmas

After Christmas all of the Jackson's started coming in town for Josh's homecoming. James, Rob and Jared and all of their families came the day after Christmas, and Liv was in cousin heaven! We spent a fun morning all together at the Curiosity Museum, and were lucky enough to be there while they had a fun critter show. I was expecting frogs and other little things, but she had a huge red fox, a huge rabbit and tortoise.  It was awesome and all of the kids loved it.

That night Bob and Sue got enough tickets for all of us to go to the BYU Basketball game. Penny and Liv were excited to wear their little cheer outfits. It was an afternoon game, so we stayed almost the whole game and they loved it (especially the dip 'n dots and cougar tail).

Christmas Day 2015

We had a Christmas miracle and got inches and inches of snow! It was absolutely beautiful. The girls couldn't believe their eyes. We had them each come out and see all of the presents that Santa brought, then we looked at the cookies that he ate, and then took turns opening presents. The girls were both so happy, and it was so fun to be together on such a perfect white Christmas morning.

After Liv and Ryan went out and played in the snow for awhile we got all ready and went to visit the Farnsworth's and opening presents with Mimi and Grandpa and Jen and Tim. We are so lucky to get to spend time with family. I love Christmas, and being together, and giving presents to one another and remembering the birth of our Savior.

Christmas Eve Cookies

One of my favorites things to do is make cookies, which has also quickly become one of Livy's favorite things as well. She loved to cut of the cookies, bake them, frost them and of course eat them. Well, she licks off the frosting. It was so fun to have Jen & Tim there with us too!

Then we got to go up to the Jackson's to see Jane Anne and baby Weston. It was a perfect Christmas Eve with family.

The girls were so exhausted by such a fun and busy day, they crashed on the drive home, getting all rested up for Christmas Day!

December Randoms

We had a fun and enjoyable December this year, rather than moving like last year! Although there was no snow, we had fun decorating and getting in the Holiday mood. I love this little girl and her love for coloring. She goes through book after book, always wanting to print off new pages, and she's getting pretty good!

We've been celebrating the Saturday mornings that dad doesn't have class by getting donuts. It's a treat that both of the girls love, and it's fun to see them pick out their own donuts, lick off all of the frosting, and hardly eat anything else. I love how Penny says "No-Nut", and it's the cutest thing ever.

With such a mild winter, we took advantage and went on as many rides as possible. Even short rides to get the mail. Penny loves being pushed in her little car, and Livy is getting pretty fast on her little trike, she's about ready for a big girl bike.

And then the sick bug hit us. We were all nauseous, coughing, headaches, congestion, and just feeling awful. We were out the whole weekend and had to miss Christmas Sunday. But we just hung out all together in bed, watched princess movies and took naps. I'm just glad we were feeling better by the time Christmas day came!
