Four years ago today Ryan and I were married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple for time and all eternity. Since that day we have been to Europe (Spain, France, Italy) 3 times, Maui 3 times, been to Florida, Michigan, Arizona, Vegas, California, and New York, got a dog, graduated with our bachelors from BYU, bought a home, bought a car, and had over 10 different jobs combined. These are just a few of the highlights, but our favorite highlight - having sweet Olivia.
We have also shared many embarrassing moments together. We have laughed ourselves to tears too many times to count. We have cried and "hugged it out" one too many times. We exchanged thousands of "i love you" 's. We have a crazy road ahead, with many unexpected turns, stops, and detours. I can't wait to see what the next 4 years bring. I love our marriage. I love my husband. I love my little family. Happy 4 years to us.Wednesday, December 29, 2010

Friends
- You haven't seen each other for months or even years and you feel like you were with them yesterday.
- You truly care about what's going on in there life, you want all the details.
- You can laugh about anything
- Everything makes you laugh.
- You can talk about personal things, embarassing things, and scary things.
- You know you'll always be good friends no matter where you live, who you live with and how you're living.
- You miss them.

- You can't wait to see them.

- You want the best for them.

Fast Asleep
My mom and I were driving home from the mall yesterday and Olivia had one of her little grunts. I just figured she was restless, pooping, or just making noises just because. When I dropped off my mom she peeked in the back seat to say goodbye to Olivia and this is what we saw.
She was fast asleep. I guess she figured her headband made a great sleep mask! Oh this little girlie makes me laugh.Friday, December 10, 2010
2 Months
This little missy is already 2 months! The second month definitely went by a lot faster than the first. We're finally getting used to parenthood and I like to think it's getting a little easier. Olivia has had acid reflux, so this last month has been interesting. I thought her fussiness would peak at 6 weeks, but it was getting worse and worse, crying was turning into screaming, screaming for a few minutes turned to a few hours, naps were 45 minutes, she was eating every 2 hours, and not sleeping much longer than 3. I finally called the nurse, she started Maalox to temporarily help, and Prevacid which is just now starting to kick in.
We finally are getting to know our happy little baby, rather than the baby who has been in pain. She loves her changing table, she'll just stare out the window and be happy while I get ready for the day. She's been trying really hard to hold her head up, she has her mouth open and her eyes just stare as if she's in deep concentration. She recognizes my voice and Ryans voice, her eyes will follow us around the room, and she loves to smile for us. She smiles the most when we tell her she's a "pretty girl".
Our little chubb-o is 12 lbs. 9 oz. in the 89th percentile, and 23 1/2 inches long in the 88th percentile. She has the cutest little belly, rolly legs and double chin. I love watching her grow and progress. We love you Livy!

Christmas Tree
In 4 years of marriage we've never had a Christmas tree, until this year! We finally bought a tree last year the day after Christmas for 85% off, fabulous deal. We got it out the day after Thanksgiving, bought some fun turqoise and silver ornaments, dolled up the tree with some silver ribbon, and we love it. Livy loves to sit and look at the lights. She is such a darling little girl. We are so excited to spend this Christmas together as our own little family, as well as with Livy's aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Olivia Jean
In this picture below, we have Susan Jean, and Jean Lee.
Not only was Liv named after her two grandma's, but also after two of her beautiful great-grandma's. Ryan and I are both so lucky to have such wonderful mothers and grandmothers, who are all such amazing examples and will always be remembered. Olivia is also so lucky to have these two grandmas who love her so much, she's always has smiles for grammy. I am so glad that these women will always be a part of our little girl.
