I love love love the 4th of July. So as you can imagine a whole 4th of July weekend was a dream come true! Ry and I started the weekend off by grabbing some Cafe Rio and went to the Real Salt lake Soccer game on Friday night. It was so much fun! The weather was perfect, the team played great and won 5-0, then after the game they put on a great display of fireworks!

That night my sister Melissa and her hubby Ryan drove in from California to spend the weekend with the fam. I'm due Oct. 15th and she's due Nov. 18th, so it's been a lot of fun going through this for the first time together! We're both having little girls and it will be so fun to have them sooo close in age! (Apparently Mel thought we were doing funny faces...that's not her real smile, well we hope not :)

On Saturday my dad was in charge of planning the Farnsworth Family Reunion 2010. So we went out to my Aunt Yvonne's house in Alpineand we just had a blast with all the family. My dad set up some fun relay races, a water balloon game turned in to a water fight, we played some volleyball while others swam, had a delicious lunch, and listened to my grandma and grandpa share a few stories about their lives. It was so much fun and everything worked out perfectly!

The whole Farnsworth Clan (well, those who could make it).

That night we had some yummy pizza and had fun hanging out with the fam. We did some s'mores and the marshmallows were ginormous! Throw a huge golden brown mallow on with a Reese's peanut butter cup and you're set, it was fabulous. Needless to say with a mallow that size they were a little messy :)

Then of course we did some of our own fireworks.

On Monday, we got to celebrate the rest of this holiday by a fun race, more delicious food and fun time with the fam. We got everyone to do the Freedom Run this year. So my mom, Crissi, Addie, me and Mel all jog/walked the 5K and had so much fun doing it all together. Then my dad, Jen, Dave, Ryan Grow and Ryan Jackson all did the 10K. Everyone finished and with very good times as well!

Then of course we had to stay and watch the parade. Since we all ran the race we didn't have anyone to save us a place on the parade route so we just went to the very end and we were good to go! We found a nice place in the shade, but we were surprised at how chilly it was in the shade for it being the 4th of July. Sargie loved watching all of the people and especially the horses.

We came back from the parade to a delicious traditional BBQ. It was all so good and once again the weather couldn't have been any more perfect.

That afternoon we went up to the Jackson's and had a fun pool party and BBQ with Ry's family, Uncle Steve's and Uncle Alan's kids, Grandma Jackson, and the Groesbecks. We had a good time swimming and playing games, as well as chatting with all of the cousins and catching up with everyone. Bob and Sue threw a great party, it was the perfect way to complete a perfect weekend!
