too many thoughts

After laying in bed for over an hour I realized there was obviously way too much on my mind and there was no chance of me going to sleep any time soon. So after eating a cookie and milk I then realized how awake I now am and how much is still racing through my mind...

...my baby is coming next month...i don't even own wipes...what if my baby comes early...my baby won't stop moving so there's no chance of sleep...my back kinda hurts...i need to deposit that check tomorrow...i should go in to work to finish up some things i didn't do today...but it's my day off...we're switching insurance plans tomorrow hopefully it's a smooth transition...i still need that address for that thank you card...i really like that new girl we just hired...i hope she can train fast...i wonder who i could set her up with...i wonder if my baby will look more like me or like Ryan...man, this little girl sure does move a lot...my rocking chair should be done tomorrow...should i do the olyptical tomorrow or go for an easy walk...my hands haven't been hurting as much as they used to...what should we do for dinner tomorrow...i wish i was sleeping...maybe i'll play brick breaker on my phone for a little bit...when is my baby going to come...how are those first few weeks really going to be like...i have to call the doctor's office tomorrow...i can't believe my 34 week appointment is this friday... my doctor said once i'm at 34 weeks they'll take the baby if she comes - no stopping it...i shouldn't have eaten that cookie...i never called my sister back...it's still weird i have an actual baby inside of me...am i really going to deliver this baby in the next few weeks...my stomach feels like it's about to explode i don't see how she can grow anymore in there...maybe i'll read mockingjay for a little bit...is katniss going to end up with peeta or gale...i can't wait to be a mom...i can't decide when to have my last day at work be...maybe i'll just work up until i deliver...i kind of don't want to work anymore..i need to finish reading babywise...what color of curtains should i get for the nursery...i can't wait for baby to come...

Friends Shower

I had a shower with all my best buds last night, and it was so fun to have them all in one place. I had several of my best friends from high school, my girlies from work, and Lindsay - my neighbor and prego buddy. Shannel hosted the cute little party, with adorable decorations, delicious cheesecake, cookies and goodies.

Here's me and Lindsay with our little bellies (me 33 weeks and 1 day - Lindsay 31 1/2 weeks).

I got a few pictures with those that came, but the camera came out a little too late to get everyone. It was a party! Thank you girls for putting it all together, it was so fun to see everyone.

My lovely family

With my brother Ryan and his family in New York, and my sister Melissa and her hubby and soon to-be-daughter in San Diego, there are few times when the whole Farnsworth clan is all together. This last weekend was one of those few times! We all went to the zoo on Friday followed by a quick and delicious dinner at Pei Wei. Then Saturday was the baby shower while the boys golfed, then we had a big swim party and bbq and had so much fun talking, relaxing, and playing. I love my family. We have a very unique sense of humor, but I love it. We all get along so well and I just love being with everyone! Next big Farnworth family picture will have 2 more little girls!

P.S. Happy birthday to my lovely sister Melissa as well as a big happy birthday to my wonderful mother-in-law! Love you both!

Baby Showering

My sister Melissa was in town for the last few weeks, she is due Nov. 18, just a month behind me, and so my mom saw the perfect opportunity to throw us a double baby shower! We had family from my mom's and dad's side both come and we loved being able to see everyone and to celebrate our babies together! We had delicious muffins, keish pie, and the most perfect yogurt parfait I think I've ever had. My mom put on a great party, great food, wonderful company and I received a few of the cutest little things I've ever seen for my little baby girl! (picutres courtesy of Shanna Farnsworth :)

Thirty-one Weeks

I'm already 31 weeks. Crazy. The days are long, but the weeks are flying by. My baby girl is moving around like crazy, she's growing more each day and running out of room! She's loves to move all around early in the morning when I'm trying to sleep in, and late at night when I'm trying to go to sleep -- I'm already starting to see a trend. I have been feeling really good, considering I'm 8 1/2 weeks away from my due date. My energy level is decreasing, my fatigue is increasing, my hands and feet are slowly expanding, more and more of my clothes aren't fitting, my anticipation - excitement - anxiety is climbing the charts, and it's all so wonderful. We've finally finished painting the nursery, now it's time to decorate! We couldn't be any more excited to bring this little girl in to our lives, our home and our family. We love you baby girl!

Mini Golf

It was a perfect summer night for a little bit of mini golf. We first hit up Iggy's with the Perdues, we each loved our meal and were fit and ready for a little competition. We all played pretty well, but of course we had too much fun. We love goofing off with our good ole' buddies.

Ryan and Tristan even wore their golfing attire for the occasion, not on purpose, but they sure fit the part. Good thing they brought their 'A' game to back it up.
