Let's Eat!

So since it was Labor Day weekend, I've had a few people ask me what I did this weekend. What I say is, "well, we basically ate". It's true, but it was fabulous. We were lucky enough to go up to Park City with Ry's parents and his brother Josh. We stayed at The Lodges of Deer Valley, it was so nice. We came back into town because I had to work, and we also caught the first half of the BYU game in the stiffling heat.

Jen randomly walked by, and ended up taking our seats at the half...

That night in Park City we ate at an amazing Italian restaurant on Main Street called Cisero's. If you want to have the perfect Italian experience, this is definiately the place to go. The food was simply wonderful!

This sign was in the waiting area, it made me laugh so hard. Just imagine if it were true...

The rain pounded on the roof all night long, and continued all through Sunday. The power went out in the middle of one of the many MASH episodes we watched; so we took a cozy nap during the thunder storm, played some Scrabble and Rumikub, then took a nice drive around town.

We actually turned on the fireplace, at the end of August, who would've thought? We ate a scrumpcious chicken dinner and woke up Monday morning to eggs, hashbrowns, waffles and peaches. We hit the outlets before the crowds and were done just in time for lunch at RedRock. Now if you're looking for some top quality American food, they'll hook you up.

Like I said, our weekend basically revolved around food, but we loved it. Now here we are, watching Monday night football (can you believe UCLA pulled through?), anticipating the First Day of School!

What a fun weekend! Enjoy your time without kids - once they come, a little getaway like that gets complicated!
