I am so glad that we bought Thanksgiving Point passes, we use it all of the time! Especially the fun new Curiosity Museum. My girls love it. Some times we go for 30 minutes, other times 2 hours. They always have a good time.
As part of Ryan's birthday gift from my parents he got tickets to Vocal Point from my parents. My dad had a meeting he couldn't miss, so we had Livy come instead. She was so excited to go on a special "date" with us and Mimi. It didn't start until 8:00 pm, so we were a little worried about it being so late, but for the most part she really enjoyed it! She got super tired near the end, but it was a great and entertaining show.
"Mom take a picture of me in my beautiful dress".
Penny loves to do everything that "Ceese" (what she calls Livy, it's her abbreviation of 'Sis') is doing. She loves to eat what she's eating, play with the same toys, and in this case she has to put on her shoes just like Ceese. So glad these sisters have each other.
I have been the Webelos leader for just over a year, and Livy has loved it. She loves the boys. We're in trouble, I know, but she absolutely loves it. At this activity the boys were all going to go out and play football, so she said she had to cheer for them on the deck. It was adorable.
Liv is in avid colorer. She used up a box so badly that there were little broken and used pieces all over the place. So we put "like" colors in muffins tins and melted them all together to make our own new crayons. I just loved this picture of her watching them melt, in her Christmas jammies, HK slippers, sipping hot chocolate. Such a hard life.
Some how we have picked up on the Donut Saturday tradition. It is not good for us, but the girls absolutely love it, and we do too. It's especially tasty when we stop on our way home from the gym.
I just love this face.
Girls being girls. It's so nice when they play nicely together, even if they are doing naughty things and jumping all over the furniture.
We had our prayers answered when Sophie moved in next door. She and Livy have become great friends, and I'm so excited to see them grow up together! They also have a little girl Penny's age, it was the biggest blessing to have little friends so close!
We often have hard days. Some days a lot harder than others. I just love watching my kids sleep. They are so peaceful, and look so loving, and sweet, and I just want to soak up all of these moments and forget most of the hard ones. My little princess.
We have date night, now every weekend, but most weekends with these folks. Kind of a dark picture, but our dearest friends Rod & Erin Poulsen and Neil & Taylor Allred. We just all get along so well and have such a good time together. We splurged one night and made our way up to The Roof, my first time there, and we had the perfect table with a beautiful view of the temple. The food was fabulous too! So grateful for such wonderful friends.
