For New Years this year we thought we'd take advantage of having Ryan home from work and try out the new aquarium. It was so incredible! It was so big compared to the last one, and had so many more fish and animals. The girls especially loved the huge shark tank. The penguins too were adorable. But the downside, was that since it was New Years and it was full of little kids and young families they were do a big New Years celebration at noon instead of midnight! So the radio station was there, and there were different events going on, so it was packed! There were so many people we could hardly navigate through. I guess it was a good first experience because every other time we go it can't be near that busy! Then at noon they had a big countdown and let down some balloons and handed out ice cream sandwiches, the girls had a great time. It was such a memorable day as a family.
That night we went to the Jacksons house and had a nice dinner together and had our own little party. They did a small little countdown and Sue had some little poppers with confetti and the kids loved those. 2014 was such a great year, I just know this year is going to be just as awesome.
