Speechless

Wow. We had the most surreal experience last night. Jazz vs. Lakers. Center Court. Front row. Wow. It was soooo much fun! Really there is not a whole lot I can say besides the fact that the game went by way too quickly! Ryan's dad was given these tickets as a gift, what an incredible gift! We were so thankful :) We found out about this on Friday night, and I thought it'd be fun to give Ryan one of his Christmas presents a little early (his awesome retro Jazz logo tee).


It was so fun to cheer on D. Will, Boozer, Brewer, Millsap and the rest of the crew knowing that they can actually hear you! Not only that but it was the most awesome game, we beat the Lakers! Yay! They are all such huge, strong, and abnormally tall - what amazing athletes.

We will probably never have an experience like that ever again, so I'm glad we were able to enjoy it and the Jazz were able to pull through with a big win! We also got on the big screen because we're such awesome fans, ha! Jazz 102, Lakers 94. GO JAZZ!

Jazz Fans for Life

We are huge Utah Jazz fans, and lucky for us Dave and Crissi invited us to go up to the Spurs game with them. Of course there was no hesitation in accepting the offer! We would've inevitably watched it from home anyway, and it's so much more fun to be screaming with the other thousands of people. It's a lot different yelling and cheering when you're at the game because the players and refs really can hear you, but when you're at home yelling at your TV you just look like an idiot. We love the Jazz, we get frustrated and upset, but it also makes us giddy with joy! It was such an awesome game too! The Jazz won, but it was a nail-biter!

We also got a good laugh during one of the time outs - they were celebrating the birthday of one of their season ticket holders of 25 years who was just down the row from us, and there was a jerk of a fan for the Spurs in front of her taking away her camera time and instead of the Jazz Bear giving the cute old lady her birthday cake, he threw it into the face of the Spur fan. He was so mad, but it was so hilarious.

Anyway, we loved the game, we love the Jazz. Thank you so much David and Crissi, we had a blast!

My New Hobby

Part of my awesome job is that I have to learn how to finish furniture so that I can give advice to people finishing their own furniture or having Four Chairs finish it for them. Anyway, I took a class, then I decided to take the plunge and finish my own dining chairs. It was so fun! We bought a table last month - which is counter-height and we love it - and so to make the table and chairs look like a set, I matched the seats to look like the table. Then we threw in some color to make our house a little more fun. I love it! The great thing about wood furniture is we can always paint it all again if we get sick of it. But for now, it's something new and fun! I just finished a frame, and my next project is our entertainment center, can't wait.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We've been married almost 3 years, and this was the first Thanksgiving that we had both of our parents in Provo. So we decided to have two Thanksgiving dinners and it worked out wonderfully! We had dinner with the Jackson's on Wednesday afternoon and Ry got to carve his first turkey, he put his Food Network skills to the test, and it was amazing! Sue did such a wonderful job with stuffing from scratch and yummy rolls. We even did some quilting while everything was cooking to help Josh with his eagle project.





Then we packed our bags and went up to Aspen Grove for the next few days for the Hulme Family Reunion (my mom's side of the family). It was so fun to be together with everyone - I think it's been 8 years or so since all of us had all been together. We had a white elephant gift exchange, several crafts, the boys played football, several different games, and great food all week long. Then Mel, Jen, Ry and I went up to Park City at midnight on Black Friday to get some good deals. I can't remember the last time that I went to bed at 4:00 a.m., but it was so much fun. Most of all it was just so fun to be with all of my sibilings, my parents, and my two neices. I love them all so much!









Then we got to top off the weekend with an awesome game! It was such a fun game to be at, even though our little toes froze. We love few things more than watching the Cougs beat the Utes, GO COUGS!



It was a fabulours weekend, now we're back to work and life! Christmas is so soon though, I can't wait.

Birthday Boy

From closing on our home, to moving, to Thanksgiving, Ry's birthday got a little overlooked, but he wasn't forgotten! He basically bought a home and a car for his birthday, so as far as birthday presents go, he was set! Ry shares a birthday with my brother Ryan, and he and his wife and daughter Kenna happened to come in town that day so the whole Farnsworth clan went out to lunch and Shanna had some awesome birthday hates for us. We went to CPK and they placed us right by the window so everyone could see us in our cute hats! As you can see Ry was really excited about taking this picture, but I needed atleast one, I am slacking on picture taking. Then of course cute Kenna and her daddy.



Happy birthday honey! I hope you had an awesome year and I hope this next year is even better! I love you and am so proud of you!

The Big News Is...

We bought a HOUSE! Yay! We still don't have internet, hopefully Mr. Comcast can work his magic this afternoon, but I was so excited to share this news! Most of you already know, but we wanted to wait to share it with everyone until we were closed and moved in. We actually bought a nice Town home in American Fork and we love love love it.

We put an offer down the end of September, the same night that another offer came in, so we had a suspenseful 24 hours until we found out that we got the house! It's actually a new town home, so we got to pick our counter tops, tile/wood floor, paint color, cabinets and carpet, it was so fun! Then we had to wait the 6-8 weeks for them to finish the building process, we took pictures each week and it was fun to see it slowly come together. We had our walk through on November 18th, and closed on the 19th, started moving in on the 20th. We were so excited to move in that we were out and about until after midnight (which is way late for us) taking loads of furniture and random belongings. We had such wonderful help, my parents were awesome and took a couple of car loads for us, Tyler Tingey and his trailer saved the day, and Lonnie Keith was such a huge help! It's so nice to finally be moved "out" and now it's a matter of moving "in" that will take some time.

We had a fabulous realtor, his name is Robert Hulme, who is actually my uncle, and he was so awesome! We couldn't have gotten this house without him, he worked so hard and was so great to work with through the whole process. So if you're looking for a realtor I strongly recommend him! :)

It's been a crazy couple of months but we are so excited to be in a new place, meet new people and have a whole new bunch of memories in this place, our first place!
