Happy 4th of July!

The 4th of July this year was a celebration of many things. My whole family, woke up bright and early and ran in the Freedom Festival Run. It was a beautiful morning, and as competitive as my siblings can be, we all had very good times! It was so fun to have my parents there at the finish line cheering us on! After the race we went and watched a bit of the parade, and discovered that it is probably more fun when you have little kids, but we enjoyed it.

Then we all got ready for a huge BBQ that my grandma planned for my entire family. We probably had about 75 people come to my house for a yummy lunch and reunion. It was so fun to see everyone and to spend the afternoon with loved ones. Ry and I then had dinner with the Jacksons, and it was a fabulous dinner at that! It was fun to see Jane Anne and Colby get their wedding present, we can't wait for their wedding in August!

Then to finish off a wonderful holiday, we watched the Stadium of Fire Fireworks from our backyard, and it was such a perfect view! We then lit our own fireworks. I swear, fire brings out the kid in everyone. We had a ton of sparklers, and the Ryans had fun making the most of the excuse to play with fire. It was so much fun to spend good quality time with all of my siblings, I love them all so much, and we all get along so well. Happy 4th!
