Memorial Day Weekend

Our Memorial Day weekend was quite memorable. We had the flu. First Livy, then me, then Ryan. We each took our day in bed. Ryan happened to get Monday, which turned out to be a good thing so he didn't have to take a sick day from work. But, we had planned to go for a hike, and we went with out him and he was greatly missed!! I especially missed him, because we had borrowed a hiking backpack from my brother David - which Ryan was going to carry - but someone had to do it. So if you're not impressed, you should be. I was sweating bullets carrying our little lug up that mountain! Sargie even got to come! Needless to say we were grateful to get to the top, and even more grateful to get back to our car :) My glutes and calves were sore for days!

 It was actually Bob and Sue's first time hiking the Y! We all had a great workout and an even better time.

 We were able to visit the graves of our grandparents who have passed on. First was Ryan's father's father, then my mom's father, and then my dad's mother. We were so grateful to take a few moments, to give them some flowers, and tell Livy about them. We wouldn't be here without them. We wouldn't be the people we are without them. We love you!

 Livy was obsessed with all of the windmills. She kept trying to run away and touch them. Of course she has her bag of all of princesses, animals, mommy's and daddy's.
