Livy's First Football Game

We had tickets to the BYU game last Friday night, and we found ourselves without a babysitter, so we decided to try taking Livy with us to the football game. I know there are plenty of parents who take babies to events like this that are a lot younger than Livy, but I've never been brave enough. And she was such an angel baby! She spent the first quarter with her Grammy Sue, the second quarter with us, and then we went home at half time. It's too bad too, because the second half was when the game actually got exciting! The Cougs brought home the win, and Livy had a blast. First football game was a success.
Livy was texting all of her friends telling them about her first game!

So fun! Love her cheer outfit. Bailey has one too!

Funny thing, we were suppose to go to the All Star thing but couldn't get a babysitter, then we had tickets to the game on Friday, but ended up having to give them away because James and I had to go to this charity event for a client of the firms. So sad! I guess I should be more positive about a charity event... haha

Lucy is sad she didn't get a text about it. She is also jealous of her cheer outfit. However, she is REALLY excited to see her cousin Livy tomorrow! :)

cute!! we took steele too and he loved it! we're going to take him again to tomorrow's game. pushing our luck maybe? ah well!! :)

p.s. i miss our mommy/baby dates! we need to keep that going this winter and think of fun "indoor" things to do because i'm getting very anxious about how i'm going to keep a 1 year old entertained when it's freezing outside!
p.p.s. good luck on your MARATHON! can't wait to hear about it!
