9 months. 9 whole months. That's a school year. That's a pregnancy. That's living in American Fork, Minnesota, and Provo. My baby girl is getting so big. In fact, here are the stats:
Weight: 19 lbs. 2 oz. - 55th Percentile
Height: 29 inches - 89th Percentile
Head Circumference: 17.9 inches - 87th Percentile
The doctor said she's tall and slender. Everything looks great, and no big problems or concerns!
This last month Livy boxed up her things, and drove 21 hours from Minnesota to Utah. She cried, maybe, twice, she is the best little traveler ever. Especially since she can hold her own toys, she was able to entertain herself for a good portion of the time - playing with small pieces of string for the most part. I don't know what it is, but she loves string! She loves running it through her little thumb and pointer finger.
Everything goes straight to her mouth. Especially since this month Livy got her first two teeth! Her first tooth broke through on Father's day, June 19th. Her two teeth are in the middle on the bottom, and I have a feeling the top ones aren't too far from breaking through.
This month she has started to try more solid foods besides her pureed baby food. She'll gnaw on little pieces of whole wheat bread, bananas, and rice puffs. Every time we're eating, she immediately will just open her mouth and lean forward - she knows when it's time to eat, and she always has a great appetite.
She still loves her bath time, splashing and playing with her little seal and hippo bath toys her Grammy J gave her. She also loves pool time - now that we're at Grammy J's, she gets to go swimming a whole lot.
She says, "baba", "bob", "ob-la", "dada", and sure can scream when she feels like it. She also likes to growl, it makes us laugh every time.
Livy loves her ride in the stroller on our daily run. She likes to squeal, and giggle and play with her toys as she relaxes in her ride of luxury. She even got to participate in her first 5K!
She is still sleeping about 11-12 hours a night, and three 1-2 hour naps a day. She's a happy little girl, and we love her more and more each day. Happy 9 monthers Livy!
