Binky

This little baby loves her binky. It's nice for us because it can plug a whole bunch of noise that comes out of her! This movie just shows how much she loves her binky. She knows where it goes! It makes me laugh every time I see her just chillin' one minute, and turn around and she's sucking away on her binky. If it's in her reach, it's bound to make it into her mouth. Someday we'll have to get rid of it...

Babbles

Another little video of our crazy girl. She likes to babble like her mama, we have some good conversations. She definitely has a lot of tell me. You can see on her face, her little smile, she knows she's being funny! She even threw in some bubbles at the end!

The Como Zoo

Friday at work Ryan found out that St. Paul had a zoo - that's FREE! It's pretty small, but they had a lot of animals! Lions, a tiger, a polar bear, snow leopards, gorillas, monkey, flamingos, seal, sea lions, zebras, and giraffes (plus a ton of tropical plants, birds, and other little creeping things). The weather man said there was going to be a huge thunder storm....but as you can tell it was a beautiful day! Livy had a very successful first day at the zoo. I have a feeling there will be many more!

Just Hanging Out

This is Livy's new favorite trick. She laughs and laughs. When sitting on my lap she is constantly throwing her head back so she can go upside down. She is getting quite the little personality. She is definitely keeping us laughing.

Laughing with Dada

Ryan always gets some good laughs out of Livy. She loves to play with him. This was one of the first times that we've really seen her kind of imitate someone. She's making the same face Ryan is, and is loving it. She thinks she's so funny - and she also thinks her daddy is pretty funny too.

Dinner Time

Livy always gets hyper at dinner time. She's usually eating at 6:00 when Ryan gets home. So she's excited that she's eating Squash, Sweet Potatoes, or whatever it may be - she's excited to see her daddy, she's getting excited for her bath, she's getting excited for 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep, and she just goes crazy for about an hour before it's bedtime. This is a typical Livy-mood right before dinner.

Livy's New Ride

I am so happy. I have been waiting for this day for waaay too long. The day I got pregnant I looked forward to the day when I could go on a nice morning run with my baby. Then I decided to run a marathon--so that little stroller is going to get a LOT of use! So I decided to go big. The BOB stroller is not a cheap little thing. So 3 birthday checks, a week of babysitting a 5 year old and 2 year old, and waiting for the Anniversary sale at REI...I finally got my stroller!!! I am so excited. They recommend waiting until your baby is about 8 months old to use it for running, so the timing is perfect. (Especially since my baby is the size of a 12 month old.) We had our inaugural ride this afternoon, and Livy loved it! It might seem crazy, but she's never sat in a stroller that faces forward! So it was a big day.
