Welcome home Uncle Josh!

We were so excited to be able to go to the airport and welcome Josh home from his mission! He was able to meet Penny for the first time, and we loved talking with him and seeing how much he has changed, but how he is still the same old Josh! We went to Chuck-a-Rama with the whole crew, and loved hanging out with him and the family, it was so fun to have Rob & Julie here too.

The week after Christmas the whole family was able to fly in and be there for his Homecoming. Then we had the big Jackson Christmas party and loved being able to see all the cousins and their kids. Such a great family, and so grateful to have Josh home!

Farnsworth Bowlers

Bowling has become a favorite Farnsworth past time. Especially during the holidays when all of the family is in town. It's added a whole new level of competition now that we have littles, or should I say there is no competition any more, it's so fun to watch these little kiddos and see how much fun they have. We wouldn't have it any other way.

High School Friend Cookie Exchange

The past couple of years my best high school friends have gotten together with all of our kids for a cookie exchange and get to all catch up. I was so lucky and so fortunate to have such wonderful friends growing up and only wish and pray that my girls can have such good friends as well. I love seeing these girls and all of their cute kids.

Graham Cracker Houses and Chillin'

One of our favorite things to do at Christmas when family is in town, is to just sit around and chill and chat and watch the kiddos. It was especially fun this year to watch Penny and Trey toddle around and aggressively play with each other. Mostly Penny being the bully. We stopped by Nanny's to visit, and Livy is obsessed with Emmie.

Then we got the great idea to not only use our super awesome Royal icing, but to use a hot glue gun for the foundation of the house and the icing for all of the decorations. Needless to say the houses were done a whole lot quicker, and with a whole lot less stress and frustration. It was great for the kids to help and get involved to because we didn't have to worry as much about the sturdiness of the houses.

I love this tradition and I love this family of mine so much.

Learning Dynamics Christmas Program

Livy's Christmas Program may have been one of the happiest moments of my life. I hear people talk about their heart exploding, but really, I was beaming with pride the entire 45 minutes. At the beginning of the program they told all the kids to look at their parents and sing to them. Livy looked right at us, and continued to look at us the entire time. She didn't need any help from her teachers, she knew all of the words and all of the actions to every song. I couldn't handle it. I just wanted to squeeze her she was so stinkin' cute. I am so glad she has another year of preschool mostly so I can see this program again. She kills me.

We feel so lucky to have both Mimi and Grammy Sue there to watch her.

Livy has absolutely loved her teacher Mrs. Anderson. She especially likes her because she has brown hair and brown eyes just like her. She really has been fantastic. Such a good year for Liv.
