Bear Lake with the Jacksons

Sue had been planning a big family reunion in August with everyone in Provo. But when we came home from Bear Lake talking about what a great time we had she decided to reserve a cabin last minute so we could go up there for a few days out of the week. We went up with Bob, Sue, Jane Anne, and Jared's Family, then met Rob's Family there. Livy loved being in the same house as all of her cousins. They all got along really well, and she loved playing with them all. 

We spent mostly all day Monday and Tuesday at the beach, in the water and playing on the boat. We had 4 babies under the age of 17 months, so it was a bit of a challenge, but we all survived and managed to have fun in the meantime!

We had such an awesome time. We love Bear Lake and look forward to making many many more memories there in the future. 

On our way home Livy was doodling, and I told her to write her name, and I was so impressed I had to take a picture to remember how amazing this little girl is!!

Family Pictures 2014

I've been wanting to hang family pictures up on our walls, so I just decided to get some new ones taken since Baby Pen had just turned 1. I had gotten some advice from a friend, to get an appointment for family pictures the week of so you don't have time to stress over it, it was great advice! I called our friend Lizzy, and got an appointment for that next Saturday. The girls were perfect for the entire hour, and we loved every picture that was taken. I am so grateful we have these precious pictures to remember this special and fun time in our lives. We love these two sweet girls so much. 

Primary Pioneer Parade

Livy had been looking forward to the Pioneer Parade for weeks (even though I don't think she really knew what it was all about). She knew she had to dress up like a pioneer and she knew there would be donuts. So since she was so excited I decided to make her her own little pioneer outfit. She complained about the long walk, and it being hot, but was so happy to get her donut. I love watching her grow up and look forward to these kind of activities!

Sweet Penny

We just love this baby. She is so sweet, so silly, and such a joy in our home. She loves to play, and follow "sister", and especially play in "sister's" room and look through all of her things and read her books. We love our Sweet Pen. 

Oh Livy

Our sweet Olivia. She has grown and is turning into such a fun, crazy, smart, stubborn, and silly little girl. We love seeing her personality just get bigger and bigger. She loves to choose her outfits, and how she wants her hair. She is a major planner. She likes to talk about the schedule for the day so she knows what to expect, and what to look forward to. She still loves to color, and is very good about just sitting down and entertaining herself. Her coloring is getting a lot better, and she has started drawing her own pictures that are just adorable. 

She loves to wear my shoes, and is always wanting to wear some lipstick and mascara. She usually always has a headband in her hair as well. She loves to play with us. She loves going out on the trampoline, and swingset. She always wants us to push her on the swing and do "funny faces" each time she comes back. It's become a definite favorite game. I don't know if it's the faces of the sound effects that she likes the most. 

We were getting ready one Saturday morning for a day on the lake with the Jackson's, and Livy comes out dressed like this in her socks, boots, and necklace and says, "Do I look ready for the lake?". She just kills me. I just love her, so so much. 

Playing with Auntie

We were able to do so many fun things while Jen was here, but didn't feel like we were too overly busy too. We mostly just loved watching our two littles play and look at each other and be silly. A few more of the things we did was go out to eat, go shopping, a sleepover, the Museum of Natural Curiosity, the Orem Rec Center, and a swim BBQ at the Jackson's. We love having her here, and will take any excuse we can get to have her here to play with!
