Discovery of Peanut Butter
Yes, I know, she is already 2 1/2 years old. But she has no interest in peanut butter until today. I got her to finally try it, and she definitely liked it! I was so happy that she finally likes it that I just let her sit and eat it out of the jar for a few minutes. This means we can FINALLY do PB&J sandwiches. I am thrilled to have another option for a quick and easy lunch and snack. I love this girl.

Annual St. Patty's Day Green Dinner
Besides wearing a little green on St. Patrick's Day I love to do a fun green dinner. Basically everything is green. This year we had green bread (it hardly looks green in the picture, but it really was!), green water, green jell-o, a green pasta primavera with broccoli and peas, and a grasshopper ice cream cake. It was all very green and very delicious!!
A few phone pics from after dinner...

72 Degrees
Today was a very big day. It was not only warm, it was 72 degrees and beautiful. It hasn't been this warm for a long 6 months and we were loving every minute. We went with some friend to a park close by and the kids just ran wild. They were so thrilled to be out of the house, going up ladders and steps and braving the big slides. Livy was so brave, she hardly hesitated trying something new. We came to this park the other day and we were the only people there. So today, when there were about 20 kids running around she was a little possessive and didn't want to take turns. She didn't understand why everyone was on her turf!! She also did great in a "big girl" swing! She held on so tight and she swung for a good long 15 minutes or so. She loved it. We are so excited for many more days like this.

An Afternoon with Baby Josie
I have the best neighbors in the world. I am so lucky to have lived by them once, and move back to be next to them again!!! One of my neighbors and I have become good friends, and I got to watch her sweet baby girl today for a little while. She is the sweetest thing ever. First of all, doesn't she remind you of little Livy when she was 10 months?!
Josie came over right went Livy went down for her nap, which Livy will be sad to know she missed out playing with baby Josie. It was just what I needed. A chance to realize how much I love babies and how excited I truly am about having another sweet little person in our home.
I've forgotten how much I love the little squeals, the constant little drool, whispy little hairs, a cute chubby face, and big eyes looking right up at you. I feel so lucky, so fortunate, and so blessed to have my own children. It is such a privilege to raise these sweet spirits. They desire all of the love, hugs and kisses that you can give. I'm learning never to take a single thing for granted. No matter what happens, I am so grateful to have my little growing family.

beck-a-boo blog
I have another little blog, beckaboocrafts.blogspot.com. It's mostly a place for me to record a lot of my favorite recipes. But I love to throw up some other craft projects or sewing projects I've been working on. All last fall I was super busy making boots, so I hardly ever posted. Then I got pregnant, so I could hardly got off the couch, let alone cooking a meal!!! So now that the 2nd trimester welcomed me with it's open arms, I've been at it. Here are some of my latest projects and favorite recipes:
